Make wanna play them right now
Btw, the gamercard gadget I don't like. |
BagelMobile With Windows Vista
Now I like playing games, and right now the only games installed are steam games. Counter-Strike: Source and original Half-Life. The games folder is pretty cool puts shortcuts to games there; also you can have multiple custom launch parameters for each game. Only problem I had is that it put games their and I didn’t even own them on steam. Half-Life: Source and Half-Life: Source Deathmatch. They only other way to get game to show up on the list is to drag them in the Games explorer then they show up as unspecified and you aren’t, that I am aware of, able to edit their publisher or their developer. So this can get unorganized quick if you have a lot of games. The two new Titan games are welcome, and Ink ball is pretty fun too. Then there is Purple Place I have no idea what a kid Pre-K type in is doing here, but hell I like making cakes. Gadgets are pretty cool, I found one that tells me how many people are in my favorite CS or CoD2 servers, Also I found one that tells me how much space is left on all my drives and even network drives if I want it to. I found a couple of other gadgets that I like an Uptime one and a network Utilization one. What I think is a little silly, As soon as I use a 3rd party gadget it uses a second instance of sidebar, if what task manager tells me is correct. I find that they tend to use more resources then the official Microsoft ones. So the only two I use are the RSS gadget and the Weather gadget. Overall vista suits my needs I can still use my favorite programs, Aero, Flip 3D, Search, Gadgets, Games Explorer are all very nice additions to Vista. The security, must notably UAC are very annoying, and can see quite a few people complaining and turning it off. While I’m not switching back to XP, I’m still not recommending upgrading. Like most advice Wait a year, or the first system pack. Then there really should be a problem with drivers and program compatibility. Most new PC’s will be built now with Vista in mind.
